PARKING

For Gymnastics meets, the entire Coleman Coliseum parking lot is a reserved area and requires a parking permit to enter and park. The reserved area includes all parking surrounding Coleman Coliseum and certain parking areas surrounding the UA Football Athletic Facility.  Parking permits will be checked on Bryant Drive, prior to entering the Coleman Coliseum parking lot.

Click Here for map of reserved and general public parking locations.

RESERVED PARKING

Fans with the following permits are allowed access into the reserved area via the Bryant Drive and 2nd Avenue entrance at all times:

  • Lot A- Players, Coaches and other officials
  • Lot B- Reserved Staff and parking passes purchased through the Medalist Club
  • Lot C- UA Maintenance & Facilities

HANDICAP ACCESSIBILE PARKING

Handicap Accessible Parking includes any person with a valid state issued handicap permit and is available in three designated locations:

  • First six rows of parking along the east side of Coleman Coliseum
  • Designated spaces on the north side of Coleman Coliseum
  • Designated spaces adjacent to the Sewell-Thomas Stadium outfield fence

Lot A Parking and Disability Parking have combined in the lot to create a larger area for both sets of permit holders.

Disability drop-off is on the east side of the Coliseum near the elevator.  You may experience some traffic post-game for pick-up, but that is due to the bus pick-up on the east drive

Anyone using any of the disability parking areas must have the appropriate state identification for the mobility impaired parking. Please make sure your pass is displayed at all times.

GENERAL PUBLIC PARKING

Public Parking is available in areas located north and west of Coleman Coliseum. This includes the Soccer parking lot (with bus service available), the Moody Music parking lot,   the Alumni Hall parking lot, the surface lot located at the southwest corner of Paul W. Bryant Drive and Hackberry Lane, UA Aquatic center south lot, Baptist Student Union parking lot and the Hayden Harris parking lot. The Coleman Coliseum parking lot will be opened to the general public if it is determined by UA that the reserved spaces are no longer needed.  See Map for details.

Public Parking is also avaible in the Soccer lot located on University Boulevard.  For your convenience, beginning one and a half hours before the meet starts, the Crimson Ride Transit system will run a direct route that will transport fans from the Soccer Lot to the east side of Coleman Coliseum.  After the game, the buses will pick up on the east side of the coliseum near the steps.  Look for the signs on University Boulevard directing you to the Soccer lot.  This service is FREE of charge for all fans.   We encourage you to ride the Crimson Ride; however, if you decide to walk from the Soccer lot, please use designated sidewalks and crosswalks. There is a sidewalk located near the center of this parking lot which leads to University Boulevard.  From here, use the sidewalk that leads towards campus to the designated crosswalk located at University Boulevard and 2nd Avenue.  After crossing University Boulevard, proceed straight ahead towards the Coliseum entrance.

The Crimson Ride will run for a half hour post-meet.

Please observe all posted parking regulations. Automobiles are allowed to park in any non-reserved and legal parking space on campus after 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Note: Vehicle parking is NOT allowed on sidewalks or yellow curbs.  Any vehicle found violating this guideline will be towed at the owner’s expense.

Please note that parking is NOT allowed in the grass areas around the Moody Music Building.
